- It is now possible to install ReText on Windows and macOS using a simple
pip install ReText
command. This will pull PyQt5 wheels from PyPI, and also download and extract the icons pack needed on this platforms. Setup now also generates a wrapper batch script (this was contributed by Hong-She Liang). - Added experimental Qt WebEngine renderer, in addition to the existing Qt WebKit one.
- The highlighter got support for reStructuredText links, field lists and for Markdown and reStructuredText code spans.
