Hello, I am running the firmware on my Ender 3 V2 with CR touch, yellow springs, dual z axis motors, a Sprite Pro DD Extruder/Hot End, with a 0.4mm nozzle. I print with PLA, PLA+ and ePLA mainly but want to start using PETG and PLU, which is why I upgraded to the DD extruder. It prints very nicely as I have done some calibration settings and I am very happy with it. I mainly now use Prusa Slicer and occasionally Cura.
Here are the current settings of a print from Octoprint, that I have sliced and works every time I print it. I generally set the print speed via the control panel to 50% for the first few layers then speed it up to 75% and then 100%. I have started to set it to 50% and then increase to 75% and then 100% via the layer height speed in Prusa which also works perfectly
My question is more likely slicer than firmware, but I want to start using a bigger Nozzle so I can reduce print times. I have tried using a 0.8mm at 0.64 layer height. I have found that by changing those setting in Prusa slicer, I cannot get a 1st layer to stick and wonder if you guys can advise me of what other settings I should change in Prusa Slicer when increasing or reducing the nozzle size.
This is happening with the same roll of filament and when I changed the nozzle back to the 0.4mm and used the previous 0.4 gcode, it prints perfectly again.
Also any tips on any settings I can use to increase the printing speed wold be gratefully received.
