I find myself typing "import" when I mean "load", and "load" when I mean "import", probably because I'm getting old and forgetful but still! They're sort of different, but also sort of not. It would be nice if they were one command, samply just did the right thing based on the format of the file passed in. Some things wouldn't necessarily make sense (e.g. import profile.json.gz --save-only), though now that I typed that out, I think there's a good use case for that -- import + constrain to a particular time range/process name/whatever, if time range was implemented more globally than just in windows ETL, and then re-save.
