It would be nice to use external auth services like Authelia, Keycloak, Authentik or GitLab.

And I guess OpenID Connect (OIDC) /OAuth2 is pretty much standardized and supported, so this really would be a nice solution.
Thank you for considering it.

Just my 2ct:
Most projects allow to set the URLs and secrets via ENV variables. This way users have the full flexibility what kind of provider they want to use.
