Feature description

Like this one on Android.

Alternative solutions

These kind of firewalls don't use internet permission, but they rely on vpn socket that currently, in my device, is busy by Mullvad VPN service.

All platform involved.

This feature request was declined in 2020:

Implementing a firewall is out of scope for a VPN app, at least this VPN app and for the foreseeable future.

For Android:

Thanks for the suggestion. This is currently not in our backlog. But I can add it as an idea.

The issue for me is that on Android (planned design flaw) you cannot run a firewall AND a VPN app at the same time. Maybe this gets fixed in newer versions of android.

If you are asking about a configurable firewall within the app, then yes it is currently out of scope.

The app is using the default OS firewall on Windows, macOS and Linux for the killswitch and to prevent traffic leaking outside the tunnel.
