Uhm.. Should have merged before pulling from this repo I guess.. Would this create any problems?

I hope not. Looking at the changes that hides behind your merging commit, I see there is no changes at all (relatively to this repo).

Except for the slightly ugly branch history that should be fine. Using "git pull --rebase" is always a good idea when working with an upstream repository to completely avoid additional merges, but well, usually it's really just a stylistic issue.
