Welcome to the sra-tools wiki!
SRA Toolkit version 3.0.6 was released with updates to access tokens within GCP and a bug fix for storing user paths in vdb-config for Windows users.
There is a change in behavior to faster-dump in this release. When the --include-technical option is selected fasterq-dump will now automatically switch to --split-files and alert the user to this. This ensures that technical reads are included in the output.
