"MAPPINGS TO" links under Ontology Class Mappings are redirected to bioportal.bioontology.org via purl.bioontology.org. Those links should stay within the appliance.

The problem is, those are mappings to the actual identifiers of that ontology. The purl is the identifier for the concept. So you have to go to the purl to resolve the identifier to its location, which unfortunately is in BioPortal.

To fix that, the umls2rdf process would have to regenerate the purls for the STY ontology so that they read http://purl.yourontoportal.org/ontology/STY/T072 and those entries could then redirect to the local ontoportal repo, IF you had a purl server running in the same general namespace.
