Actual behaviour

  • I flew from Europe (UTC +2) to Asia (UTC +7) and after my phone automatically adopt to local time (what is 5 Hours behind) my nextcloud Client goes crazy and started auto uploading of all media Files in a Camera Folders. Those files were already synced long time ago, but it does not care - client just duplicating them with no end. Only way to stop it is to open Upload status menu and stop files one by one - that is MASSIVE amount of work.
On a way back never seen this issue (from UTC +7 to UTC +2)

Expected behaviour

  • Changing Time back (time Zone from UTC +x to UTC +x+y) should not causing massive uploads of already synced files.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Have a folder for auto uploads configured
  2. check if auto upload works
  3. change time zone backwards for you local time (e.g. UTC +1 to UTC +7 will cause 6 Hours time back)
  4. enjoy uploads...
