Imagine that you just found nextcloud and start using auto upload for DCIM/Camera with option "move to nextcloud folder".
Then it would be very cool to manually trigger an initial sync. Same holds for e.g. WhatsApp Images with "only upload" (here the system needs to check for the existence of the remote file instead of just plain upload).
