I can confirm this on Nextcloud 22.2.3 updated from 21.0.7 today on Ubuntu 20.04.

On Nextcloud 21.0.7, the issue did not appear. I know this because I use this functionality regularly in my Ansible automation of Nextcloud external storage (which is of course bust now 😛 ).
