Allele specific expression analysis

Non-coding germline variants as well as copy number variants that alter regulatory elements can cause changes in allele-specific gene expression which contribute to cancer susceptibility and progression. We will examine allele specific gene expression in the intra- and inter-patient data to identify allele specific expression changes associated with NF1 tumor progression.
