@targos re. the 2021-11-02 release -- FYI there's currently scheduled maintenance for the AIX machines (nodejs/build#2783).

The current plan is to do this between 9-10am PDT which is 1600-1500 UTC.

This involved physically moving between frames so the machines will definitely be unavailable.

The maintenance has already been postponed from 12 October to avoid the security release that day and the following 17.0.0 and 16 LTS transition releases. One of the people involved in the maintenance is only available on Mondays and Tuesdays so I'm reluctant to postpone again (especially this close to the revised date).

I'll defer to your judgement on whether the release can happen before the maintenance starts or if it should be delayed.

I'm going to prepare the release proposal tomorrow. I think the release builds will be ready before 1500 UTC.

I'm probably not going to prepare any release this week. CI is too unstable.

Windows CI is still in a pretty bad shape and I don't really know what to do now...
