Nostr’s adoption thesis #41
Comments
Would this be the first NOSTR book? |
That is what i am going for, yes. But to be clear, this talk is not about the book |
Supposedly there is a Japanese Nostr book out there already |
This should be accepted. Even if the theme looks boring I'm sure the deliverance will be pretty good. |
Having listened to the antihashed podcast, I want to see this and will be sitting in the front row |
Hoping that community safety is covered: we have originally developed and formed into "neighborhoods" to stay locally close to the culture, values and community that fits. How do we adopt this on nostr; to ensure that those looking for safety, family values, or whatever it may be can stay protected. This is of ever increasing importance as we enter into open source and global implementation, which provides access for "bad" or "unhealthy" users to encroach on one's "space". |
Description
A talk about the underlying assumptions on adoption and development of Nostr, and how they relate to other projects/protocols out there.
What is this talk about? Give us as many details as possible.
This talk addresses the assumptions implicit in the protocol design and subsequent development process in relation to the direction, method and means by which implementation/adoption within the wider world would occur.
What would an attendee learn from this talk?
Hopefully it contextualizes the phenomena of Nostr for both developers and early adopters.
Is there anything folks should read up on before they attend this talk?
No
