It's on the top of my wish list too; it would solve a lot of problems in the monitoring application we're building in node-webkit.
But I guess the answer is no (see Issue 711).

However even the new HTML5 standards API browser notifications of Chrome 28 would be nice to have in node-webkit. See for yourself with Chrome 28 this demo.

Unfortunately all calls of the Notification API yield nothing in node-webkit 0.5.1
