Visit https://opentelemetry.io/docs/concepts/instrumenting-library/#opentelemetry-api and you'll read (emphasis mine):

  • Semantic Conventions are not stable yet: while this does not cause any functional issues, you may need to update your instrumentation every once in a while. Having it in a preview plugin or in OpenTelemetry contrib repo may help keeping conventions up-to-date without breaking changes for your users.

But the section to which "not stable yet" links to has been updated from

to

So the "Semantic Conventions are not stable yet" paragraph needs some editing. Who can tackle this (or let me know how to update it)? @carlosalberto @tigrannajaryan @codeboten @tedsuo?
