Project Updates

1. Node 16 upgrade (@binodpant)

• Node 16 Upgrade: Initial survey and determine plan of action #2
• Node 16 upgrade for frontend-platform #28
• build: upgrade to node16 frontend-platform#259
• build: upgrade node to v16.12.0, suggested npm is v8.1.0 frontend-app-profile#491

2. Retire IE 11 Support (@adamstankiewicz)

• Retire IE11 Support #3
• Shared browserslist config - bunch of PRs open, need to get them merged in.
• Possible issue where we may need to include node versions in the shared browserslist config to account for jest.

3. Paragon Development (@adamstankiewicz)

• Opening up Paragon to the community - most conversations have been internal to edX thus far. Want Paragon to be more community driven. Internal meeting will become external facing. Look out for an invite and shared Slack channel.
• "Paragon Small Bites" - added a few icon-related ones. Bianca picked up a few! Issue Remove responsive components and make react-responsive a passthrough library #45 worth noting.
