Persisting the application data

This discussion addresses storing the application data, such as the user settings, file transfer history, connected devices, etc. At the moment, the Tauri store plugin is being considered. However, the store plugin focuses on using Key-Value pair, which may not scale as application data such as transfer history gets larger.
