Markdown edits are not rendering properly on Gitbook

We have been facing this issue for a while and occurring randomly.
Sync between Gitbook <-> GitHub is set up.
Several versions in place and published.
User edits the .md file on GitHub on a specific version.
File is synched to Gitbook and published, but does not render properly on a version (formatting is off) although the code seems fine in GitHub and the preview in GitHub also seems perfectly fine. It's just the Gitbook publish site where rendering is all off.

Kindly provide a fix.

Seeking an update on this one as it's been a while. We are seeing this issue off and on without any recognizable underlying cause. it seems to be an MD to HTML rendering issue.
Please update.
