How to adjust the physical resource usage within the simulation system when using SystemC and Gem5 for simulation?

I established a simulation system using SystemC and Gem5 (with AtomicSimpleCPU mode selected), and analyzed the simulation process using Perf tool. The results showed that the simulation CPU (ARM) occupied nearly 70% of the physical CPU resources, while the SystemC only used a small portion of the remaining physical CPU resources, which resulted in low performance of the entire simulation system. When selecting the TimingSimpleCPU mode, the physical CPU usage of the SystemC section has increased, but still falls short of expectations.
Is there a method for adjusting the physical resource usage of various modules in the simulation system within Gem5? Enable simulation systems to allocate appropriate physical CPU resources to SystemC or ARM at different simulation stages. Or if there are other tools available to achieve this function, please provide me with relevant information.
