In multi-screen configurations, corner tiling is challenging when trying to place windows in corners where screens meet. Instead of snapping to the intended corner or edge, windows often attempt to tile on the adjacent screen, making precise placement tedious.
This differs from Windows, where screen boundaries naturally restrict dragging across screens, allowing windows to snap more intuitively at screen edges and corners. This feature can be considered for Linux Mint, though it simply moves the point of friction to another area.
Here are a few possible solutions to consider for enhancing the tiling experience:
Any of these adjustments would make tiling in multi-screen setups smoother and more intuitive.
