The daily pings, for example pvaret/rtl8192cu-fixes#185 and pvaret/rtl8192cu-fixes#184. are very annoying, especially if you are only subscribed to the project to watch for updates.

BTW, the project is "dead", so your suggestion to opt out won't work.

Please, with sugar on top, don't annoy peoply by sending them unsolicated emails. That won't help your case.

Hi, This tool have been installed and configured by pvaret on their repos. Please work with pvaret to get it configured in a way that makes sense for the types of policies they want enforced. For example, the file https://github.com/pvaret/.allstar/blob/main/security.yaml coule be updated from:

optConfig:
  optOutStrategy: true
action: issue

to:

optConfig:
  optOutStrategy: true
  optOutRepos:
  - rtl8192cu-fixes
action: issue

And that repo would be disabled for the security.md check.

Additionally, your feature request for configurable backoff pings sounds great. I'd be happy to review and merge this feature.
