When a page with almost 6000 folders wich contains a total of 35gb with files of about 400kb inside them, The page takes forever to load and consume a lot of ram on the client side (in chrome is about 300mb for this unique page). If I load the same folder in web browser with the sabredav interface, it's fast as usual. I tried the same folder on some other computers and I got the same results with sabredav and owncloud interface.

My suggestion, it's possible to do like in email clients, show only the first x number of elements like 500 or 100 items at a time. This will unload at least the browser wich suffers a lot in this case. In the process manager, it's seems the take a whole cpu on a multicore system before showing the page. I've checked if there are already an addon to do it but I didn't find one. I've made this test in 6.0.2.
