What’s really missing is having one simple screenshot of the app for the Readme and app store page. It should include:

  • a few Notes in the left sidebar so it’s obvious it’s a multi-note editor
  • a bunch of writing in the note, including some markdown just to let people know it works but doesn’t need to be that present
  • the ownCloud header just for reference

@Henni @LukasReschke @BernhardPosselt @DavidPrevot @FCTURNER @vgezer what do you think?

Maybe a more funny text more than a markdown demo? ;) Also, a better resolution would be good, maybe just zoom in.

@stefan-niedermann nice! I would maybe add 3–5 more documents in the left sidebar just so it looks a bit more used. And then zoom in to improve the resolution and make the screenshot less wide. :)

I would explain markdown a bit, making the screenshot a small tutorial too.
But I already think this is a great improvement. Really shows the differences well with the original app in a blink of an eye!

@FCTURNER I would say it’s not really necessary. People who see the screenshot and know markdown will instantly know it’s supported. People who don’t know markdown might try the hashes or asterisks, or just notice it when they do lists. I think the content is fine.

Okay, i added some more notes and took the screenshot with 1920px (zoomed to reduce whitespace).
Hope the ads for the mobile clients are okay for you? 😉

Awesome! Only one thing: remove the "" apostrophes around the names of the apps cause they don’t look that good. :)

Then you can go ahead and add it to https://github.com/owncloud/screenshots in a new »Notes« folder. And then embed it in the readme.md and upload it to the app store page (cc @Henni).
