It seems there are certain areas that makers of hand-crafted doge memes avoid putting text on. One of these is over the eyes, like the text just happened to be in the example image.

I think it would be neat to make it have lower probability of landing on the eyes, but perhaps not zero. Other things to consider would be keeping text from showing up too close to other text.
