Count of messages changes upon selection of subscription #3

Initially, the subscriptions show the total count of messages (i.e. 1234) and selecting the subscription causes the messages to be pulled, displayed, and also the count in the tree becomes 100 (the number of messages pulled) rather than the real count (1134 etc).
