MASS1 Configuration File

Format

Most lines in the configuration file contain one value. It's best to put a slash (/) after the required data on each line. Comments can appear after the /, as shown in the example below. Those items with their description struck out are not available or ignored, either because they are no longer needed or computed internally. Items

14 1 flag Write a hotstart file at the end of simulation
15 1 int Units option: 0 = English, 1 = metric1 (only 0 works)
16 1 int Time option: 0 = real2, 1 = date/time
17 1 int Units used for channel length in the point file:
0 = feet, 1 = meters, 2 = miles, 3 = kilometers
18 1 int Boundary condition at outlet:
0 = stage, 1 = discharge
19 1 int Maximum number of links (>= actual number of links)
20 1 int Maximum number of points on a link
21 1 int Maximum number of values in a BC file
22 1 int Number of transport time sub-steps (0 = automatic)

Footnotes

  1. The metric units option is untested and probably doesn't work.

  2. Using decimal time in time series input no longer works, so don't try it.
