Develop Unit Tests

Unit testing code is critical to the viability of the project. Here we ask you to add tests to existing code with the Karma unit testing system.

This issue is for helping people setup Karma. Comment if the documentation for unit testing is not sufficient and you need help. We will then translate any issues or misconceptions into changes in the documentation.

Details on the unit testing system can be found on the development guide. A great place to start adding test coverage can be found on our coveralls.io account. Coveralls tells us which lines have been tested already.
