What needs to happen for a release

  • bump the version in files
  • git tag
  • generate the changelog from .changelog.d
  • merge into master
  • publish to PyPI

We have two changes on main and some users asking for a release in #176. I can do it manually or @altendky do you have any interest in working on automation?

Go for it. Though, I may yet make my way back here in the next months... We'll see how convincing I can be.
