After we have put the remaining pieces (see dependencies) for the runtime updates in place we should review the documentation of this process to ensure that it is complete.

In particular we want the following questions to be answered.

  • How and when to announce the change to the public?
  • How and when to release new versions of the node and the tools? Especially in relation to backwards compatibility of the client.

Depends on client backwards compatibility compatibility tests (issues TBD)
