With the update of latest version, crc worflow is failing.
As in the latest release, there is no .tar.gz file.
It has only .pkg file and this action doesn't support this format as of now

We are removing support to install CRC on macOS. As versions greater than or equal to 1.28.0 have only .pkg format and to install this format we would need to have root or sudo privileges in the runners and self-hosted runners may not have those permissions.
However, if you wish to install CRC versions less than 1.28.0 on macOS, it is still supported.
