I have my domain locally overwritten in hosts file to 127.0.0.1, can you think of something for that case? |

that happens because i'm asking the operating system to resolve the domain. |

How to use this feature with duckdns.org? |

there's no difference with duckdns, you enter your domain where it says "domain for certificate" |

would be nice if acme.cert could save as either .cer, .crt, or .pem, to be compatible with other software. this way hfs would spit out a valid cert for something like qBittorrent's WebUI, currently I have to use certbot. |

that error is about HFS using an external server (currently located in France) to test yours. If this test of mine proves to be unreliable, I can consider proceeding with the request anyway, and eventually provide the same error if the certiticate attempt fails. |

i've now fixed a bug that will make the same error appear even in the case the port was NOT really tested. |

@rejetto , Just coming back to this piece of software. I self certified, but was wondering how to get the actual certificate using duckdns. My "normal" website is AAA.NORMAL.COM. I'm running HFS off of my computer at AAA.DUCKDNS.ORG. It will not allow me to create a "Let's Encrypt" certificate which would be wonderful. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated |
