It may well be out of scope for the project, but I would like to make a suggestion. I have noticed that code where I want to use my mit-license.org link, often scripts and snippets too short to comfortably include the full text of the MIT License, has a large overlap with code I want to release to the public domain. There is now a MIT No Attribution License aka MIT-0, a public-domain-equivalent license based on the MIT License. It would be convenient if this project offered the MIT-0 variant, too. For example, the user could select it with a modifier in the URL.
