Resume List on Reopen

Is there a way to keep track of which files has been downloaded/added. Every time i close/reopen the program it clears everything.

If URLs are resumeable you can use -i name_of_file switch to fetch urls from file.
I could add option to write/append all current URLs to external file, would that be enough?

maybe i worded it wrong but i'm mainly talking about the program itself. I like to be able to save the state of it. Currently if you exit the program, all of this is lost.

Basically i want to reopen the program and have it back the way i left it.

e.g on reopening; Show me all the ones i downloaded (100% completed), show me all the ones that is not downloaded yet (0% completed) ...etc
