This story is to set up the EDU instance for the Oxford pilot. The site should be up and functional w. LTI crossover working from the course for the pilot start date of 12/17/19.

@mlippert mentioned there may be some stories to review and merge prior to building out the site. He and @juliariffgit will sort out the details for URL, build date etc.

The Oxford site is up and running.
It is deployed in the AWS eu-west-2 (London) region which should satisfy requirements that data remain in the UK (even after Brexit, which is looking more likely to happen soon).
The domain is https://said-oxford.riffedu.com

A new tag 1.0.0-dev.38 on the outstanding merged PRs in rifflearning/mattermost-webapp was created and that version is what was deployed, along w/ the latest rifflearning/riff-server 1.0.0 and rifflearning/signalmaster 2.1.0

The team for the Cyber Futures Preview course (course-v1:esme-learning+OCFP1+2020_SPR) is OCFP1 Spr-2020 with a url path of ocfp1-spr-2020

  • The survey plugin has been installed but not enabled
  • Email notifications have been enabled using the SMTP server we setup w/ AWS email-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com
  • The set of autojoined channels is:
    • "course-support"
    • "feedback"
    • "links-fun"
    • "weekly-updates"
  • I created all of those channels in the Team and set their purpose and header from the text of the matching channel deployed to nexted.riffedu.com
  • I had also created a Coding Help channel ("coding-help") which was on the autojoin list, but I archived that channel and removed it from autojoin at the request of @juliariffgit who said this course has no coding.
  • I created a new LTI consumer key said-oxford_esme_5480 and matching consumer secret and updated the settings in the course w/ that information.
  • I updated 1 (and only 1) of the LTI links in the course to go to the new riffedu site so I could test it out.
