How to export a table with embedded plots into an MS-Word file?

Hi,

Our group is using gt to generate some summary tables. The package is awesome, and we all love the style of the table. Thus, we decided to use the tables for one of paper. Since the target journal accepts table in MS-Word file only, we tried to export the tables, all of which contain embedded distribution plots, using gtsave(), as_word(). However, neither of them worked properly. May I know if there is an approach to export such tables into MS-Word files?
