Using either of the 2 methods below will generate a warp field, but warp fields over a certain size (unknown specific size limit) are difficult to save in HDF5 format.

  1. From BigWarp, --> Export warp field
  • this generates the warp field, but gives error about ‘chunk size must be <4GB’ when trying to save as HDF5. This error appears to be coming from Fiji, not BW
  1. Plugins --> BigDataViewer BW to Displacement Field
  • this works great for smaller images, and the smaller images will save as an HDF5 without error, but when using larger/high res images, the following error occurs when trying to save:
"Error while saving '[File path + name]': java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Length is too large (2306867200)"
