How to restrict tags to be in options?

I'm trying to do an skills selector fetched from an API, the problem is in the dropdown people can select the written text to filter, I want to restrict the selection to only choose the options fetched.

A prop to prevent selecting the written text in the search field.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Set a filter in the options and override the list.

In the image you can see the written text appears as the first option and it can be selected.

Half a year late here, but you could probably solve this with selectable https://vue-select.org/guide/selectable.html#selectable-prop
