I see that there is an "identi.ca" option for adding a new account, but it is greyed out. Is that because I'm missing a python library? Or is this feature disabled? I'd like to connect turpial to my status.net account as well as my twitter account.

Thanks for the most visually beautiful twitter client i've found for linux!

I want to use Turpial to connect to GNU Social that uses status.net protocol.

I am not sure why this doesn't work. In theory, there is support for "identi.ca" or rather, status.net in the backend library, libturpial: https://github.com/satanas/libturpial/tree/development/libturpial/lib/protocols/identica

it's old as hell and would probably need a refresh, especially because identi.ca now uses pump.io, so it's a completely different protocol (see #392 for that). but my guess is that it should support other status.net sites.
