Just wanted to say thank you for flatpaking this up. I used to use Xara long time back to make company logos and have only recently needed to go back to them to edit some. Of course Xara is no longer a simple install on a modern linux and so a flatpak or snap would have been perfect.
I saw the discussion post on flathub about the packages momentum not being 'current' but that is not really the point of flatpaks is it? The point is to be able to give software a safe place to run on regardless of the underlying system. That means being able to run legacy apps on modern systems without having to jump through hoops.
Sometimes it is not all about the latest and greatest it is about functionality and consistency.
Thanks once again.

I am happy to hear that my work has become useful to someone.
Unfortunately, Flathub maintainers believe that Flathub is not the right place for projects with no upstream activity (even if they are maintained downstream).
However, I decided to use testbot to produce unofficial x86_64 binaries. I believe that such a compromise will be the best solution in the current situation. Anyway, that's the best I can do. flathub/flathub#808 (comment) flathub/flathub#808 (comment)
