Notes about Cloudtrail

  • Cloudtrail records actions taken by a user, role, or an AWS service. Events include actions taken in the AWS Management Console, AWS Command Line Interface, and AWS SDKs and APIs.

  • You can have CloudTrail deliver log files from multiple AWS accounts into a single Amazon S3 bucket.

  • You can troubleshoot events over the past 90 days in the CloudTrail console by viewing Event history. Up from the previous limit of 7 days.
