I've uploaded a small corpus to VoyantServer in which each file is named according to an ISO-formatted date. This normally allows me to show changes in word frequency over time quite nicely. Now, however, the Trends pane is stacking all of the data in a single line like so:

It should look like this:

I've tried it on more than one computer and get the same results. I've also tried both the latest release of Voyant Server and an older release and the problem persists.

The problem went away when I removed the file prefix.

That's a resourceful solution, but I think the underlying issue still needs to be resolved, thanks for pointing this out. The new Trends tool had a bug when there were documents with duplicate titles, and I thought that was resolved, but apparently not. If you were using the hosted version, is there a URL you can share when it was NOT working properly?

I've hit some strange issues with sorting and the Trends tool, too. It will probably be a couple weeks before I'll have time to track down what specifically the problems were and what workarounds I've tried, but I'm commenting to remind myself to look into it. In the mean time, you can see that on https://voyant.digitalricoeur.org/tool/Trends/?corpus=e89d256208a719ca068b6d50ff2d1bfa the documents aren't sorted in any discernible way.

It worked properly with the hosted version.
