electRon

What is it?

A chat bot that helps you in choosing your electives. You can ask about:

• various teachers
• list of courses in any domain(in CS)
• about any course
• supports (my) unversity lingo

How to run?

Install Python AIML module:

For python 3:

• pip install python-aiml

For python 2:

• pip install aiml

Then create a python file with following code and run it:

import aiml

# Create the kernel and learn AIML files
kernel = aiml.Kernel()
kernel.learn("std-startup.xml")
kernel.respond("load aiml b")

# Press CTRL+C to break this loop
while True:
    print kernel.respond(raw_input("Enter your message >> "))
