Very long start time

• I have searched searched open and closed issues for duplicates.
• I am using Signal-Desktop as provided by the Signal team, not a 3rd-party package.

Overall summary

I have noticed that Signal Desktop (under Windows 10) takes a very long time to start.
On an older PC it takes me over 6 seconds, while Whatsapp Desktop only takes 2 seconds.
What is the reason for this?
