I'm not sure if another panel would be more suitable but defining error messages in RDF possibly with a specific HTTP headers came up a number of times in the past. That's along the lines of solid/specification#28 and solid/specification#111 . If possible, a generalised solution may benefit both and can be useful in other cases. See also solid/specification#112.

Note solid/specification#44 (comment) proposing how the constraints can be named and defined in the Solid spec.
