Who are you, and where are you from?

I'm a one person company based in northern Germany.

What are you working on?

I'm working at a couple of closed and opensource software, and infrastructure projects.

Why is their sponsorship important? How will you use the funds?

A huge amount of software I'm developing and maintain by-myself (outside of a paid customer) are Open Source. But there are also a lot of OpenSource projects I'm helping so much as I can. To name a few:

  • I'm developing the new MesosExecutor and Operator of Apache Airflow
  • I'm developing the Mesos Provider for Traefik
  • I'm developing the Kubernetes framework of Apache Mesos (M3s)
  • I'm developing a new Container Orchestrator for Apache Mesos (mesos-compose).
  • I'm developing and maintain the fork of Mesos-DNS
  • I'm maintain the Synapse and Element Docker Image (https://hub.docker.com/r/avhost/docker-matrix) since many years
  • and so much more.

All these projects need time I have to take from my spare time. Sponsoring means, I can be more independent from customers to spend more time for the OpenSource projects.
