I have spent 20 years thinking about a computer language that is optimized for the dirty underbelly of big data, which is the movement and transformation of data. Everyone is focused on the storage and presentation layers, but the movement and manipulation of data. This language is meant to be easy to read and write so that even analysts can easily work with it. Currently, most companies use a hodgepodge of various languages, which could be Python, or R or SQL, etc. The idea is to have this language transpile into golang which can then be compiled, deployed, scheduled, etc.
Currently, the language has been partially written as an interpreter with a large chunk of the specification implemented, but we need resources to finish it off and get it out there.
