From Shelly: I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around what the PC scores mean relative to biology. Is it possible to make the y-axis an expression value or fold-change in expression? and then have the exons 2-6 on x-axis? That might make it easier to visualize what going on at the gene level

To do this we would need to subset the list of genes belonging to each PC and plot them from a different data set (@sr320 had a script for this which we could try!). The ASCA shows PC scores, which are related to gene expression, but not directly plotting expression. If we want to plot expression values we will need to add a new analysis and new plots.
