Introduce new metaphore

The way the episodes are processed, can be compared to an assembly line (samlebånd), like those found at factories (fabrikker). You have the start of the assembly line, in which the basic framework is placed on the assembly line. This corresponds to the episode source, which places episodes on the assembly line. Along the assembly line, there are workstations (arbeidsstasjoner) which take the assembly (produktet) and potentially adds something to it. Whether they add anything to it or not depends on if they have any parts that are applicable for that assembly. Thus, the workstations may represent the episode metadata sources.

The show source could be compared to the catalogue over different models (not quite happy with that metaphore) and shows as a property in each episode. Or perhaps as the series of that product?

This metaphore breaks down a bit because a factory with an assembly line is supposed to produce many copies of the very same product, which is the opposite of what's actually the case. However, the metadata sources all have one job only, and thus they can be rightfully compared to workers which are specialized in one single task.

Applying this metaphore would mean:
