Describe the bug
When opening the extension in a browser tab, the app is much wider compared to the browser version

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

open in new tab: chrome-extension://->your ext id<-/index.html#/

Expected behavior
the tabbed extension should look the same the browser version of the app
